Sidewalk Types

The Urban Edge Neighborhood Context consists of areas that may have detached sidewalks, attached sidewalks, or no sidewalks at all.

Shopettes and Main Streets

Commercial land uses are often in the form of shopettes, or smaller scale shopping centers with one or two rows of parking between the building and the street. Main Streets, with buildings at the street, are also present within residential areas or along main roads.

Predominantly Single Family

Residential land uses are predominantly single family. Homes have a traditional or ranch form. Some areas have front driveway access to an attached or detached garage, while other areas have alley access to a detached garage.
